Professionals of the law firm TESET successfully represented an international insurer in a dispute regarding an award of insurance indemnity.

The plaintiff claimed the insurance indemnity under the suretyship insurance agreement. During the claim management procedure, the insurer refused to pay the insurance indemnity, arguing, among others, that the event occurred is not the insured event. The insurer upheld this position during the entire judicial examination of the case as well.

Professionals of the law firm TESET drafted procedural documents of the court case, collected additional evidences supporting the insurer’s position and represented the interests of the insurer at the court hearings.

After an examination of the case material and positions of the parties, the court upheld the legal position of the insurer and dismissed the claim for the award of the insurance indemnity in its entirety.
